Ellen Hinkley (Elle)

My name is Elle and I live in Southend on Sea with my husband and 2 bulldogs, 'Peach' and 'Pip.' I started my career in the NHS on Reception as so many of us do, where I stayed with the same practice for 8 years. I then moved on to manage a small team of home visiting paramedics for the Shoebury/ Southend locality. The LES areas then formed PCNs in 2019 and I became PCN manager for 2 busy Primary care networks. I have since seen the transformation of networks, the DES, the ARRS roles, the CCGs to ICBs and the I also managed 2 successful LVS sites with the help and support of brilliant clinicians, allied health care professionals, colleagues, friends and family. From here I joined THC Primary care, an interim PCN Management consultancy where I helped support a PCN in Dartford before coming back to Southend to be closer to home. I view my career as a bit of a crash course in management where I have absorbed and developed many skills, but I still have much to learn. I hope to grow and progress as much as possible and believe there is always something to learn or improve on. I hope if others choose to learn from me, I too, can learn from them.
