I have worked in a small surgery in Benfleet for 13 years. High Road Family Doctors has 4300 patients and 10 staff. I have held the position of Practice Manager for just over 6 years and feel that my experience may be of benefit to somebody else. I am passionate about my role as a Practice Manager and thoroughly enjoy this position. As I work for a small Surgery, I don't have others to help with some of the tasks that a larger Surgery may benefit from. Therefore I wear many hats in my role and consider that I know "a little about a lot of things". I can help with Claims, Finance, Reports, SystmOne, Complaints and Significant Events, Toolkits we are required to complete and much more. I am a good listener and that may be all that you need sometimes. Practice Management can be a very lonely job at times and if I can share some of my knowledge with you, that may be all that you need.
